Products Description
Ultra Thin Hydrocolloid Dressing creates a moist healing environment by absorbing wound exudate and forming a soft gel. It is a flat wound dressing with a thickness of 0.6 mm (minimum 0.2 mm). They are elastic dressings made from medical-grade pressure-sensitive adhesive and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) particles.
The Ultra Thin Hydrocolloid Dressing has strong adhesion but can also absorb exudate, forming a gel-like appearance that prevents it from sticking to the wound. With its flat design, the mold structure is relatively simple, allowing for the creation of products in various sizes and styles. This also makes it convenient for consumers to cut and use the dressing freely according to the location and size of the wound.

Features
Extremely discreet
As thin as a film, it's almost invisible after being applied to the skin, making it suitable for exposed areas.
01
Excellent breathability
The ultra-thin thickness reduces skin stuffiness, making it suitable for sensitive skin or long-term wear.
02
Flexibility and Comfort
Its thinness allows for high conformability, making it ideal for contoured or high-friction areas like the face, joints, or as a protective layer over intact skin to prevent pressure injuries.
03
Self-Adherent
The hydrocolloid material itself has adhesive properties, allowing it to stick to the intact skin around the wound.
04
Customizable
Standard hydrocolloid Dressing can be easily cut to fit the exact shape and size of a wound, which helps minimize the risk of skin maceration (softening due to excess moisture) on healthy skin.
05
Moist Healing
When it interacts with wound fluid (exudate), the dressing forms a gel, creating an optimal moist environment that promotes the body's natural healing processes and autolytic debridement (natural breakdown of dead tissue).
06
Protective Barrier
The outer layer is typically a semipermeable polyurethane film that is a liquid barrier, allowing the patient to shower without compromising the dressing's integrity.
07
Applications
Minor Burns and Scalds
Effective for first- and second-degree burns after initial cooling, as they provide pain relief and prevent desiccation.
Abrasions, Cuts, and Lacerations
Ideal for common scrapes and minor traumatic wounds by providing a protective, waterproof barrier that accelerates healing.
Blisters
Used to cover open or deroofed blisters, reducing pain and allowing continued activity.
Minor Surgical Wounds
Can be applied over clean, closed incisions to protect the site, minimize scarring, and keep the area clean.
Stage I & II Pressure Ulcers (Bedsores)
For superficial pressure injuries with minimal drainage, they help reduce friction and prevent further skin breakdown.
Acne Lesions
Smaller, specialized versions are widely used as "pimple patches" to absorb fluid, reduce inflammation, and prevent picking.
Protection of At-Risk Skin
Can be used on intact skin in high-friction areas (e.g., heels, elbows) to prevent skin breakdown
