1. Cleanse Skin: Before using acne patches, thoroughly cleanse the affected area and surrounding skin to prevent oil or dirt from affecting adhesion. Use a gentle amino acid cleanser to wash and gently pat dry. If the skin is broken or has pus, disinfect it before use.

2. Choose the Right Product: Choose acne patches with different functions according to the type of acne. For common pustular acne, choose patches containing salicylic acid; for red and swollen acne, choose patches containing hydrocolloids. For nighttime use, choose a thicker patch; for daytime activities, choose a transparent, ultra-thin patch. Check the product for any sensitizing ingredients.

3. Apply Correctly: When taking out the acne patch, avoid touching the adhesive side with your fingers. Align the patch with the center of the pimple and press gently to secure it, ensuring the edges do not lift. For larger pimples, use a patch of the matching size. For multiple pimples, apply patches with spacing. Avoid contact with water for 4 hours after application. Check for peeling after exercise or sweating.

4. Regular Replacement: Regular acne patches should be replaced every 8-12 hours. When the patch turns white and swells, it indicates it has absorbed secretions and should be replaced immediately. At night, the time can be extended to 12 hours, but exceeding 24 hours may allow bacteria to grow. If the acne does not improve or worsens when replacing the patch, discontinue use.

5. Observe Results: After 1-2 days of normal use, the acne should gradually subside and the swelling should flatten. If itching, redness, or other allergic reactions occur, discontinue use immediately. For stubborn cystic acne or recurring acne, acne patches only provide temporary relief and require medication to treat the underlying cause.
