Products Description
The Super Absorbent Dressing is an advanced, multi-layered wound care products designed to manage moderate to high levels of wound drainage (exudate) by locking fluid away in a highly absorbent core, which promotes a moist healing environment and prevents damage to the surrounding skin.
It has excellent fluid absorption capabilities, effectively absorbing liquid from both sides. You can choose a non-adhesive dressing depending on the amount of exudate. Multiple dressings can be layered for use, making it convenient and reducing the frequency of dressing changes.

Features
Superior Absorbency and Retention
The core contains superabsorbent polymers (SAPs), such as sodium polyacrylate, which can absorb many times their weight in fluid and lock it in a gel-like state, even under compression.
01
Maceration Prevention
By effectively wicking exudate away from the wound and retaining it within the core, these dressings significantly reduce the risk of maceration (skin breakdown due to excess moisture) of the periwound skin.
02
Reduced Frequency of Change
The high absorption capacity allows for extended wear time (up to several days), which minimizes disturbance to the wound bed and improves patient comfort.
03
Moist Wound Healing
They maintain an optimal moist environment at the wound bed, which is crucial for faster healing and reduced scarring.
04
Protective Barrier
The outer layer is waterproof, backing layer prevents leakage and contamination from the outside while allowing the wound to breathe.
05
Non-Adherent Wound Contact Layer
The layer that touches the wound is typically non-adherent, allowing for atraumatic and painless removal during dressing changes.
06
Applications
The Super absorbent dressings is primarily indicated for partial- and full-thickness wounds with moderate to excessive drainage:
Venous and arterial leg ulcers
Diabetic foot ulcers
Pressure injuries (bed sores)
Surgical incisions and traumatic wounds (lacerations, abrasions)
First and second-degree burns
*Generally not suitable for dry wounds or third-degree burns
